Franklin H. Hitchcock

HITCHCOCK, FRANKLIN H.; of Davison formerly of Ortonville; died January 1, 2013; he was 86. Born May 16, 1926 in Ortonville, Michigan, to the late Frank and Emily (nee: Hodge) Hitchcock. He married the former Eva Beckman on July 12, 1946; he is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Eva; two children, Vicki Kymla and Rodney (Christeen) Hitchcock; one sister, Harriet Spencer; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in W.W.II and the Korean Conflict. He was a longtime business owner in Ortonville having operated Frank's Plumbing. A member of the Clarkston American Legion # 63, life member of the Davison VFW and Past Master of the Ortonville Masonic Lodge. He was a kind and generous man. Funeral Service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, January 3, 2012 at COATS VILLAGE FUNERAL HOME- ORTONVILLE. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service.
