KING, MELVILLE FRANK; of Trout Lake, formerly of Clarkston; died May 6, 2013. He was 87. Born August 10, 1925 in Derby, Ontario to the late Alfred and Bertha (nee: Lorenz) King. He is survived by 5 children, Michael (Bonnie) King, Janet (Larry) Cohoon, Cathy (Dennis) Montrose, Ronald (Sherry) King and Leta (Philip) Standring; 1 brother, Nelson King; 1 sister, Barbara King; 15 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Lyla King; and 3 children, Jerry, Keith and Carol King; 1 brother, Raymond King; one sister, Mabel Dixon; and 1 granddaughter. He retired from General Motors and Redstone Theatres and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, W.W.II. Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy where interment will also take place.
