Nancy, I am sad to hear of your Mother's passing. She was a wonderful lady. Yours and mine friendship started on the first day I was attended Burt School. Mrs. Gillow made us "friends" so you could get me thru the first day. You were a wonderful friend then, and still today. I send my deepest sympathy. So So sorry to read this. I have only wonderful memories of her fixing myself and sister's lunch when we went to Burt Elementary School. Her potatoe soup still is vivid in my mind. Many years later our paths crossed again at the doctor's office. The office treated her for some time. One day she showed up for an appointment and gave me back my second grade picture that I had given her to remember me. We had plenty of stories to tell each time i saw her. She was a light in my childhood like no other. Rest in Peace. I sure hope she passed on that receip for potatoe soup. It was marvelous... Suzzie Marcora Delongchamp
