UHRICH, GEORGE W.; of Sylvan Lake; February 19, 2013; age 89. Loving husband of Monica for over 62 years; beloved father of Mark (Christy) Uhrich, Gretchen (Tony) Arnold, Kristina (Gilbert) Martinez, Daniel Uhrich, Mathew (Madeline) Uhrich, Anne (Ronald) Holbrook, Michael (Lisa) Uhrich, and the late Kristine Uhrich; beloved grandfather of Nicholas (Jody), Bryan, Katrina, Andrew, Grace, Daphnie, and Devin. Mr. Uhrich was a teacher in the West Bloomfield School District and also worked in security at General Motors. He was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013, 10:30 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 80 S. Lynn Street, Waterford. Celebrant Father Larry Siroskey. The family will receive friends Friday 4 to 8 p.m. at the RIVERSIDE CHAPEL, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford, and at the church on Saturday after 10 a.m. Rite of Committal All Saints Cemetery.
