Mrs. Eldred was my kindergarten teacher and a colleague of my parents Richard and Betty McGowan, Rochester teachers. She was also my husband's teacher at Woodward. I remember her fondly. She was very kind. I was only four-years-old at the beginning of the year. I enjoyed seeing her in the community in later years. She had a friendly smile. Our sympathy and appreciation are extended to her family and friends.

Syd and I were so very sad to hear of Aunt Helen's passing . Judy, Dave and Families know that you are in our thought and prayers. Your Mom was a very special lady. I enjoyed our conversations over the past several years.
She will be greatly missed.

I'm blessed to have talked with Helen in the past month while visiting my mother at Bellbrook. I had not seen her in 37 years- since the time she was my mentor in Armada when her husband Jay hired me. I have also now retired and am so grateful to have been able to share some school memories with her. A lovely lady who will be missed.

Dear Friends:
What a loss we all feel at the passing of Helen! She was a wonderful person....beautiful inside and out...one who lived her faith. We have fond memories of our many years together at St. Paul's church.
Our hearts go out to all of Helen's family and her many friends. May God's love sustain you in your time of grief.
