LEIST, KENNETH ETHEN; age 83; of Hartland, Michigan; passed on January 18, 2013. He is survived by his beloved wife Gerry (Farnham) Leist whom he married on February 3, 1952; children, Sherry, Gale (Bob), Barry (Jane) and Jill; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; his brother, Willis; and sister, Ruth. He was preceded in death by siblings, Mildred, Doris, Wilma, Arlene, Harold, Darold and Floyd and a grandson, Brian Clemmens. Mr. Leist was a graduate of Milford High School, a US Army Veteran, and worked with General Motors for 37 1/2 years. A Funeral Service will be held at West Highland Baptist Church, 1116 S. Hickory Ridge Rd., Highland, on Wednesday, January 23 at 11 a.m., Cremation will follow. Interment and Military Honors will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
