Leona Magdlene Hines

HINES, LEONA MAGDLENE (nee JACKSON); age 92; a resident of Troy; passed away on March 30, 2013. Beloved wife of Joseph Alan Hines; loving mother of Jerry (Kathleen Fitzgerald) Glidewell, Phyllis (Norm) Dollar, James (Lynne) Hines and Karen (Keith) Tiedeman; adoring grandmother (known as 'Nena') of 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren; dear sister of Ruby Glidewell and Amy Love. Leona was born in Hickman, KY and moved to Michigan in 1956. She was a member of the Evanswood Church of God in Troy and active in the women's group at church. A seat at her dinner table is a memory that will be forever cherished by those who sat around it on Sundays. Leona loved being with her family and friends and will be missed by all the lives she touched. A memorial Service to Celebrate her Life will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Evanswood Church of God, 2601 Square Lake Road in Troy.
