Tim Brown Obituary

Brown, Tim; age 56; of Rochester Hills; passed away on June 9, 2015. A nearly 20-year member of The Black River Bluegrass Boys, Tim was well-known for his sharp wit, both on and off-stage. He will be missed by many area musicians and uncounted fans. He was also an accomplished, enthusiastic, poker player, maintained a “day job” as a successful salesman, and was an all-around bon vivant. He is sorely missed by his brother and sister-in-law, Terry T. and Sally Ann Brown, also of Rochester Hills, his nephew Peter Robins-Brown (fiancee Veronique Haymon), of New Orleans, and dozens of good, loving friends and associates throughout the Midwest. He touched the lives of many, many people. At his request, he was cremated and no service was held. At a later date, friends will hold a memorial gathering. Those wishing to honor Tim’s memory may send a tribute to the International Bluegrass Music Association (ibma.org) or the charity of their choice. Offer condolences at lynchfuneraldirectors.com
