GOLDING, Harold Ralph; age 74; passed into God’s hands on July 12, 2014. Born November 10, 1939, in Pontiac to Janet and the late Ralph Golding. Husband of Elizabeth Golding and the late Lenore Golding. Son of Janet Golding; father of Kurt (Stacy) Golding, Matthew (Mary) Bandsuch and Heidi Golding; grandfather of Hannah, Jake, Enzo, Aiden, Hugh and Margaret; brother of Diane (Ronald) Helmuth and the late Janell Golding; brother-in-law of Mary Louise (Reid) Thompson and Jesse (Betty) Milliken. Harold was a long time and dedicated teacher in Rochester where he taught at North Hill, Van Hoosen and Hart Schools. He was a proud founding member of the Sons of the American Revolution–the Oaks Chapter and an active member of the Rochester–Avon Historical Society. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stephen Episcopal Church, 5500 N. Adams Road in Troy followed by interment in White Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at PIXLEY FUNERAL HOME, 322 W. University Drive in downtown Rochester on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Contributions in Harold’s memory maybe directed to the Sons of the American Revolution, the Oaks Chapter or to the Rochester–Avon Historical Society.
