Gail Barnfather Obituary
BARNFATHER, GAIL; of Weeki Wachee, Florida; passed away at home on August 10, 2014. Gail was born in Decatur, Alabama March 7, 1940. Gail was a member of the Nativity Lutheran Church and a retiree of The JL Hudson Company. She was involved in community theatre for many years, the Lakeland Players, Clarkston Village Players, Sugar Mill Stage Crafters and the Glenn Lakes Country Club. Gail was a very loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and great grandmother. Her faith and courage have been a source of inspiration to all those who have known her. She had a warm and contagious smile that will be etched in our hearts forever. Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Gerald R. Barnfather of Weeki Wachee, FL. She is survived by her daughter, Lana Sioma (Jeffery) of Texas; son, Jeffrey Bairnsfather (Laura) of IN; sister, Vivian Powell; brother, Billy Turner (Shirley); brother-in-law, Sidney Britton (JoAnn); sister- in-law, Lois Buettner; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren, Michael (Ashley), Candace and Catherine (Matthew), Devon (Rebecca and Andrea), Steven, Christopher, Nickolaus; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, August 14, 2014 at All Saints Episcopal Church (171 W. Pike St., Pontiac). Rev. Karen Johanns officiating. Burial at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
