Obituary Condolences

ROBB, ROBERT DUNCAN (Bob); born August 4, 1938, to George and Mary Robb (deceased); died February 27, 2013. He was predeceased by his brother, Gordon and is survived by niece, Heather of Cadillac; and three cousins. Bob was a graduate of Alma College, and began his teaching career at Eastern Junior High School in 1960 and moved to Pontiac Central High School in 1967, where he remained for nearly 40 years. He taught biology and chemistry, sponsored the swim team, the gifted and talented program, and was science department head. Bob was a member of the NEA, MEA, and PEA, the Biology Teacher's Association, and The St. Andrew's Society of Scotland. He sang for many years with the Jackson Chorale and with the choir of his church, First Presbyterian of Pontiac. He served on the board of the Pontiac Teacher's Credit Union as both president and treasurer. He was a conscientious and dedicated teacher serving and educating over 10,000 of Pontiac's youth.
