Eula Lee "Dee" Gallatin(1920 - 2013)

Eula Lee "Dee" Gallatin, 92, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin.
Born Feb. 9, 1920, in Hampton County, S.C., Dee lived most of her life in Beaufort, S.C. She moved to Wellington in 1978.
Dee was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Wellington in her younger years and was also a member of the Eastern Star.
An extremely talented seamstress, Dee could sew anything, including wedding dresses. She loved fishing and had a knack for always catching the most fish.
She is survived by her son, Danny (Robin) Gallatin Sr. of Wellington; grandchildren Brandy (Jerod Kidd) Gallatin and Danny (Christina) Gallatin Jr.; and great-grandson, Leland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Gallatin; parents, Harry and Elle Peeples; and siblings Otis, Herman, Hayward, Irma, Van, and Odell.
Friends and family may call from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main St., Wellington, and again on Friday from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service.
A private burial will be held later at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington.
