Margaret "Peg" Stephens Piraino, 89, died March 16, 2013, at Kendal at Oberllin.

Born in Granite Falls, Wash., she was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Thomas "Tom" Piraino.
She is survived by sons Tom (Barbara McWilliams) of Cleveland Heights, Michael (Carin) of Bainbridge Island, Wash., and David (Kathy), of Shaker Heights; and 10 grandchildren.
Peg was a graduate of the University of Washington, and earned a master's degree in library science from Kent State University.
She worked as a librarian at Amherst High School.
Peg and her husband Tom raised their three boys in Oberlin. She loved nature and the beauty of the outdoors, but above all, Peg was dedicated to her husband, children and grandchildren, all of whom she loved and admired with all her heart.
A memorial funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Oberlin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, followed by a reception at Kendal of Oberlin at 2:30 p.m.
