Louise Richards Obituary
Louise was born in Columbus, Ohio, and graduated from the Columbus School for Girls. She received an A.B. degree from Denison University in 1942 and an M.A. degree in art history from Oberlin College in 1944.
After five years as assistant to the curator of the Allen Memorial Art Museum, Oberlin, she joined the staff of the Cleveland Museum of Art where she served for 34 years, retiring in 1986 as chief curator of prints and drawings.
She is survived by her sister, Beth Owen, of Pittsboro, N.C.; brother, David O. Richards, of Granville, Ohio, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements were entrusted to Cowling Funeral Home, Oberlin.
