Darrell Ruck Obituary

Darrell E. Ruck Darrell Emerson Ruck, 86 passed away October 25, 2012 in Evergreen Convalescent Center, Olympia. Darrell was born in Chillicothe, IL on April 27, 1926 to John and Bertha Ruck. He graduated High School and attended Classes at Bradley University in IL. Darrell served with the U.S. Navy on the MS109 Minesweeper in the South Pacific during WWII. Darrell lived in Peoria, Il; San Francisco Bay area, CA Yuba City, and Merced, CA moving to Olympia 6 years ago. He married in Carson City, Nevada on October 20, 1973 to Caroline Morris. He worked as a Maintenance Electrician at Keystone Steel and Wire in Peoria, IL; Electrical Contractor in San Jose, CA and Yuba City, CA. Darrell was over a 50 years member of the Masonic Blue Lodge. Also Scottish Rite and Shiners. Surviving are his Caroline, Son Darrell William Ruck, Daughter Shirley Ann Ruck and adopted daughter Kristin Meadows, grandchild Kennan Meadow. Family suggests memorials to Providence Hospice Foundation or charity of choice. A graveside service was held November 5, 2012 at Tahoma National Cemetery.
