I am sorry that I didn't get to meet my Aunt Barbara in person. I had contacted her years ago and spoken to her on the phone. Barbara was the sister of my father, Basil Babcock, jr. In her voice I could hear how gentle and and caring she was as she spoke about my Dad after he died in 2003. I was grateful for that conversation.

I treasure the memories of Sunday dinners and her warm, unconditional love. Such a brilliant gentle woman, who made amazing sticky buns. I feel honored to have had her in my life. Prayers for the family. May warm memories embrace you all.

Such a brillant and gentle soul. She was an inspiration for me in so many ways.
I was so fortunate to have her as a neighbor.

Dear Dolliver family, One of my special memories of your Mother was coming over to your home with Beth and eating her amazing chocolate cake! She was such a fine lady.
