Glen Miskimens Obituary
Glen was born on February 28, 1944 in Bremerton, Washington to Ben A. and Mary V. (Armstrong) Miskimens. He graduated from North Thurston High School in 1962. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1962 to 1964. He was employed by Gig Harbor Albertsons as a meat cutter.
Glen is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marlene, his mother-in-law, Dorothy, and his children: David (Becky), Steven (Carmen), Terry (Rebecca), Glenna (Doug), Gina (Domingo) and Kelley (Shannon), plus their 17 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sisters Beverly Teeter, and Sheryl Wood, and a brother Ronald Wood (Cindy). He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Terry Wood (Mert).
Public viewing will be held on Friday, May 13, 2011 from 9:00-5:00 p.m. at Mills and Mills at 5725 Littlerock Rd, Tumwater, WAs. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on May 16, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 3800 Henderson Blvd S.E., Olympia Washington 98501.

I just want the Miskimens Family what a humble and caring priesthood holder I was blessed know while my girls and I attended the 3rd Ward. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I was so touched at my cousin Bennys service. How much he was loved by his family and the community. What a good dear man!
He helped me with my mothers passing by officiating the service, he felt unworthy and I told him as far as I or she would have been concerned, there was no one she would rather have done it.

I wonder if this is the same glen that filled in for us at the Raymond safeway during the late sixties and early seventies.There was also a family by that name that lived in Raymond in those days.Sam Johnson [email protected]
