Margaret Howard

Margaret Howard was born in Whitetail, Montana on February 22, 1920 to Gust and Eva Kellas. She married John Howard December 3,1942. In 1952 they moved from Spokane to Lacey, WA where she resided until 2006.
Margaret was a 50-year member of Beta Sigma Phi. She was a long-time member of Lacey Daisey square dance club as well as round dance groups. She passed quietly in her sleep in the loving care of Lidia Nutu's Adult Family Home on February 28, 2011, just six days after her 91st birthday.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, John. She is survived by her daughter, Betty McGovern (Loren); son, Brian Howard (Kathy); granddaughter, Marcella Howard Ramos (Daniel); grandchildren, Alexis and Isabelle Ramos, all of Olympia; brother, Paul Kellas (Gretchen) of Sacramento, CA; and sister, Edna Schalow (Fred) of Watsonville, CA.
A memorial to celebrate Margaret's life will be held on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 1:30 pm at Mills & Mills Funeral Home, 5725 Littlerock Rd. SW, Tumwater, WA., 98512.
