Jerry Sprengel Jerry L. Sprengel, 65, of Olympia passed away at Providence St. Peter hospital on December 7, 2012, one month after undergoing heart surgery. He attained the rank of Eagle Scout and spoke very fondly of his scouting days. He had many interests which included farming, gardening, bee keeping, building, rock hounding and he particularly loved old hand tools. He had an outgoing and inquisitive nature and was never shy to ask a question or share his knowledge. Teresa & family, We just wanted you to know how much Jerry will be missed, he was one of the sweetest and funniest men we knew! Loved when he would just stop by if we were in the yard to tell us about his latest adventures in hunting for treasures at garage sales! We are praying and thinking about you, love Mike & Debbie

Our family – as well as numerous other rock and fossil collectors – has been privileged to know Jerry. Jerry enriched our lives tremendously. Although Jerry's presence in this world will be sorely missed, he certainly will not be forgotten.
