Alan Angell Obituary

Alan Leroy Angell

Alan Angell, beloved father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, died on April 23, 2011 in the Olympia home he shared with his daughter, Valorie, and son-in-law Pat McClelland. Alan was born on April 8, 1928, in Exeter, CA and raised in Petaluma, CA. He proudly served in the U.S. Merchant Marines during World War II, and moved to Olympia in 1985. He was a much loved man by his family, friends and co-workers. He went home to be with the Lord whom he loved and served after a long illness.
Alan was pre-deceased by his wife, Georgie, in 2005. He is survived by his daughter,
Valorie; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother, Kent; and sister, Sheryl. He had many friends and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Westwood Baptist Church in Olympia.

Hi Val, I'll miss your father. I still remember him working all the Summer Hummers with me. He recently donated twice to my daughter,Courtney,for her mission trip.
