Arthur Graves

Arthur Graves passed away April 16, 2011 at home. He was born August 27, 1933 in Auburn. He was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and one daughter, Mary.
He was a lifetime member of the VFW, American Legion, Eagles, Moose and Elks, the VFW Camping Club.
He loved his family, Seahawks, Mariners, NASCAR, gambling, clam digging, fishing, garage sales, camping and travel. He got a great deal of enjoyment out building bikes for children in need, working endlessly for many years on the Moose Lodge on their Easter Egg Hunt.
Art is survived by his wife, Donna; his children, Cindy Birindelli (Jerry), Cathy Eberle (David), Cary Swafford, Kevin Pennington (Andrea), Karen Griggs (Kim) and Kelli Zimmerman (Peter); one sister, Helen Wright (Ralph); and his dog Miley. He had fifteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) April 25, 2011, starting at noon with a potluck to follow.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the VFW Post 318, 2902 Martin Way, Olympia, WA 98506 or Providence Sound Hospice, 3432 South Bay Road NE, Olympia, WA. 98506. Arrangements are with
Funeral Aleternatives of Washington, 360-491-2222.
