Betty Norma Jackson
Feb 14, 1923 to April 6, 2011

Our beloved mother, Betty Norma Jackson, died on April 6, 2011, peacefully and comfortably and is now home with her Lord and Savior.
Betty was born in Olympia, Washington to Norman and Olga Aimer, graduated from Renton High School in 1940 and went to work for the Studebaker Dealership in Renton. In 1942 she married her high school sweet heart Dale Jackson. While he was away serving in the Army, she supported the war effort by working at Boeings in the tool room.
After dad returned from the War they eventually settled in Kent and began raising a family, were mom worked in farming and drove a school bus. In 1964 mom and dad moved to Yelm where they continued farming until they purchased Yelm Bowl. Mom enjoyed camping with the family, bowling, golfing and was an avid sports fan.
Her other passions included gardening, crossword puzzles and reading.
In 1988 mom moved to Bremerton where she remained active in bowling, golfing, traveling around the country visiting family, historical sites, and attending bowling tournaments.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Olga; sister, Arlene Green, Silverdale; and daughter, Norma Denny, Provo, Utah.
She is survived by Dale Jackson, Bremerton; her daughters, Dalene (David) Mills, Bremerton, and Kathy (Albert) Beard, Boise, Idaho; and son, Mark Jackson, Bellevue; grandsons, Douglas Mills, Alta, Utah, Derek (Jennifer) Mills, Port Orchard, Alan Jackson, Bellevue, Matthew Jackson, Portland, Oregon, and Daniel Denny, Provo, Utah; granddaughters, Zorintha (Mark) Relph, West Jordan, Utah, Joanna Beard, Boise, Idaho and Amy Jackson, Bellevue; along with five great grand-daughters and one great grandson.
A memorial will be at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, May 7, 20011 at Grace Covenant Church, 11th and Veneta, in Bremerton. Please sign the online guest book at: www.
