Bruce Maxwell Brockmann Bruce M. Brockmann, 61, died July 9, 2013 at St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA. Bruce was born August 9, 1951 in Vancouver, WA to George and Lillian Brockmann. Bruce earned his BA at Evergreen State College and enjoyed a successful business career operating multiple 7-Eleven franchises, independent convenience stores, Blimpie's Restaurants and a variety of other businesses. After retiring self-employment he worked for Pierce College followed by the State of Washington where he was employed until his death. He shared 22 years of marriage with Karen (Dick) Brockmann before her passing in 2003. Bruce is survived by his daughters Brandyn Brockmann, Brittany Smith (husband Andrew), Kelley Loveless (husband Tracy), and Kasey Magee (husband Larry), and three grandchildren, Cassidy, Anna and Landen, all of Olympia. Bruce will always be remembered for his love of family and kind and gentle heart. Service by Mills and Mills Funeral Home in Tumwater, WA. August 9, 2013 at 3:00 pm.
