Eileen Dorothy Clouatre

Eileen Dorothy Clouatre, 94, Olympia, died at 6:34 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2011, at the group home of Thelma Ang. Mass and wake will be held at St. Michael Catholic church, Olympia at noon on April 27, 2011. Cremation is planned, with inurnment in Panama City, FL, later this year. Mrs. Clouatre was born at Cook County hospital, Chicago on January 16, 1917, to George and Lillian McNulty.
Survivors include her children, Maureen T. Brice (Al) and Jeanie Taylor (David) of Olympia, and Joe Mallinson, Jr. (Bette) of Santa Maria, CA; 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren; and many other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Joseph Mallinson, Sr. and Leo P. Clouatre, along with one sister and three brothers.
Mrs. Clouatre was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, and loved to garden and care for Jeanie and David, with whom she lived before moving to the group home. Prior to that, she lived 25 years in Panama City, FL, 25 years in Van Nuys, CA, and her earlier years were spent in Atlanta, GA, and St. Joseph Academy in Cincinnati, OH. Donations may be made to Catholic Relief Services (crs.org) in her name.
