George Wells Obituary

George Andrew Wells

George was born in Olympia, April 1, 1950, passed away March 4, 2011. A resident of the Chehalis Reservation for over 30 years. Viewing will be at Mills & Mills Tuesday March 8 from 3:00-8:00 p.m; and funeral services are March 9 at 11:00 a.m. at the Nisqually Tribal gym, with burial at the Leschi Cemetery.
George was a member of the Nisqually Indian Tribe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Sr. and Rosie Wells, step-dad Henry Chum and grandparents Josephine and Bill Wells. Surviving are his siblings: Barbara Daniels, Foster J. Gillie and Georgette Wells-Secena(Bill), from Oakville, Josephine Wells, Richard Wells Jr, and Joyce McCloud (Don) from Nisqually, and Carmen Chum, fromMaine; Aunts: Roberta Secena, Oakville, Ruth Hoskins, and Rena D.Wells, Nisqually; Uncles: Ray Wells, Reuben Wells, Roy Wells, and Willie Wells, Nisqually, and Dale Klatush, Oakville; Special friend, Dan Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Descendent of Skamink Kalama and Gillie and a family member of the McCloud and Brunoes.
