Marcela Scheelke Obituary

Marcela "Marcy" Scheelke

Marcela "Marcy" Scheelke, a 44-year resident of Olympia, Washington, passed away March 24, 2011. She was 49. Marcy was born February 22, 1962, in McCleary, Washington, to Thomas and Donna MacDonald Scheelke.
For 27 years, Marcy worked at Ben Moore's Restaurant as cook, bartender, soother, jokester, and confessor. She had a memory longer than the Great Wall, was a diva at karaoke, and considered Mt. Rainier "hers." She loved gardening, crocheting, and her two cats, Missy and Sissy.
Marcy is survived by brothers, Michael Murphy, Timothy Murphy, Matthew Murphy, and JD MacDonald; sisters, Theresa Holtz and Felicia Backowski; and nieces and nephews great and small: Hester, Spencer, Ethan, Ami, Marcell, Cozmo, Mia, Ashlee, Ezra, Jullian, Jake, Alyssa, Tina, Yvonne, Caleb, Dominic, Dominic, Jamison, Desiree, Kristen, Willow, Amara, Sophie, Michael, Kira, Michael Jr., Emma, Nicholas, Amanda, Andrew, Jarred, Kaitlin, Adam, Annashea, JD, Tyler, Dakota, Sabrina, and Lauren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dominic Murphy; and sister, Melissa Murphy.
The family invites all who knew Marcy to join them in celebrating her life at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 16, 2011, at Ben Moore's Restaurant, 112 4th Avenue West, Olympia. Memorial donations may be made to the Capital Club House, 618 7th Avenue SE, Olympia, WA 98501.
