Margaret "Peggy" Johnson

Former State Legislator Margaret "Peggy" Johnson, 80, previously of Edmonds, WA, passed away at her home in Skokomish Valley, WA on March 26, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Wesley Johnson, her children Kathleen (Bruce) Arnold of South Hadley, MA, Gary (Linda) Johnson of Edmonds, WA, Wesley (Kathryn) Johnson of Everett, WA, and Richard (Alyson) Johnson of Matlock, WA, her sisters Jackie (Morgan) West of Seattle, Julia (Jerry) Joaquin of Allyn, WA, brother Edward K. Wright, Jr. of Hemet California, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Coralee Wright, and her beloved grandson, Jeremy Johnson. She is the grandmother of ten and great-grandmother of five. Peggy was devoted to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her family, and her community.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Skokomish Valley Community Church, Shelton, WA and the First Baptist Church of Shelton, WA. A private family graveside will be held on Saturday, April 2 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a public memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at the Pavilion at Sentry Park, 190 West Sentry Drive, Shelton, WA 98584-8045. Visitation at McComb Funeral Home, Shelton, WA, Friday, April 1st, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

I knew Peggy through my mother Verda who was a caregiver to both Peggy and Wes's mother.She was a strong women who loved God and her family,she will be missed.
