MaryNell lived across the street form us in Tanglewilde when I first moved to Olympia in 1972, and managed the rental home we lived in. She also was our realtor when we purchased our first home ( in Tanglewilde). I always admired her energy and wisdom, and I'm sorry to hear of her passing.

My fondest memory of you was at Lake Chelan. We had spent the day in the sun and both of us were a shade of red. You of course had a permanent tan so I use the term red pretty loosely. I on the other hand probably had second degree burns. Someone had some noxzema and we used it to paint ourselves up as Indians going to war. I can still see your smile. That is the MaryNell I will remember. Rest peacefully till we meet again.

Dee Dee, Chuck and Janell,
My thoughts are with you as I reflect on the many hours I spent in your home in Tanglewilde, with your mother, the hostess with the mostest! I remember her as a bubbly, outgoing mother who enjoyed being around her children and her children's friends. Warm wishes to each of you.
