Sigrid Hansen Obituary
She was a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church, where she was involved in so many church activities that it would be hard to list them all.
After sellig Avon for many years, Sigrid worked for the Thurston County Auditor setting up the election boards for 19 years.
Sigrid is survived by three daughters, Kathy Hansen (Harry Yanagimachi) Lacey, Jackie Schwagler (Jerry) Port Angeles, and Laurie Hansen, Tumwater: son, Doug Hansen, Grandview; grandchildren Sara, Scott, Steve (Kristal), Mike (Kristin), Allison, Season (Ed), Silas; great grandchildren, Brandon, Maddie, Cecily, Kambel, Jessica, Olivia, Kolt, Derek. Sigrid was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, in 1996.
She enjoyed reading, traveling, gardening, music, all NW sports and going out with friends and family. One of Sig's fondest memories was attending a Mariners game on her 90th birthday surrounded by family and meeting Dave Neihaus and Rick Rizz in the broadcast booth. The family will be wearing Mariners gear for the service to honor Sig's lifelong love for her beloved team. Please join us in this tribute if you wish.
A memorial service at Faith Lutheran Church, 7075 Pacific Ave. SE, Lacey, will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 9. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Faith Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
Arrangements are by Woodlawn Funeral Home, Lacey.

Our beloved Aunt Sigrid has truly gone home to be with her siblings and husband, Bob. When we visited with her on Wednesday, she said she really wanted to go home but she pretty much knew she couldn't. Well, she did go home and she is at peace. We will miss her at our picnic this summer but she will be with us in spirit. God bless her memory. Hugs, niece Emily and Sibbie.

Our deepest sympathy to Sigrid's family. She was such a sweet, gentle person and a true friend. She visited our mother regularly and it meant so much to us.
