Susie Milholland Obituary

Susie Milholland

My Darling Susie went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2011. Susie was born July 18, 1947, in Santa Barbara, CA. She graduated from San Diego State College in 1969, receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree. In 1970, while living with her uncle and aunt in Olympia, she met the love of her life, George. On May 6, 1972, her uncle, the Very Rev. Charles Howard Perry, performed their wedding at St. John's Episcopal Church. After 38 years of devoted work for the State of Washington, Susie retired.
Susie is survived by her husband of 38 years, George; grandson, Jacob Hass and granddaughter, Brooklyn Bray of the family home; daughter, Amanda Nichole Milholland of Olympia; sister-in-law, Marj Soudah; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Sarah Johnston; her uncle, the Very Rev. Charles Howard Perry and his wife Charlotte. If love alone could have saved her, she would have lived forever as she was loved by all who knew her.
At Susie's request there will be no funeral. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
