Wilma M. Kennedy

Wilma M. Kennedy, 98, passed away on March 1, 2011 at Fir Lane Health and Rehab Center in Shelton, WA. Wilma was born in Oshkosh NE. on July 23, 1912. She is survived by her son's Gary Torjuson (Nancy) of Shelton and Dean Hoover (Virginia) of Olympia, three granddaughter's, Kim Robertson of Olympia, Theresa Costas of Shelton and Mary Riffe of Post Falls ID., and three great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Wilma was preceded in death by Emmett Hoover, Torjus Torjuson, Fred Kennedy, son Edward Hoover and grandson Michael Hoover. Wilma had three sisters, Mable McPherson, Zelma Dorn, and Opal Jagow, whom also preceded her in death. Wilma was an LPN for many years and also had an ambulatory elder care home at her own residence in Wenatchee, WA. Wilma was family oriented and loved to have family be around her and enjoyed always cooking for them. You could always count on her to bring the best and most foods to a potluck. Arrangements for a private family memo rial service will be at a later date.
