Raymond L. Fader Raymond L. Fader passed away on April 14, 2016 in Olympia, WA at the age of 80. Ray was born in Olympia on September 29, 1935 to Oscar Fitzgerald Hull and Delia Violet Gorham. Ray spent his young life in California and eventually made Olympia his permanent residence. He was a Printer by trade and began this work while still in high school. He worked for the Olympian and for the State Department of Printing, where he retired. Ray was an artist and created many beautiful works during his lifetime. He was a 3rd degree Black Belt in Tae Kwan do, and loved riding motorcycles and canoeing. Ray was a gentle, kind, generous, brave, and wonderful man who enjoyed his grandchildren immensely. We will forever miss him. Ray is survived by his wife, Maria Fader of Olympia, WA; his children and step-children: Teresa Heisler (Bill), Monica Fader, Lisa Heathscott, Justina Fader, Sarah Fader, Susan Sprauer (Pat), Shelley McDermott (Lou), and Stephen Matychowiak (Rose). Ray had 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Veronica Fader, his son, Raymond J. Fader, his brother, George and his sister, Judy. Visitation at Mills & Mills Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with praying of the Rosary commencing at 4:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 9:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 812 Bowker Street SE, Lacey, WA.
