June 20, 1919 - Sept. 2, 2015
ROCHESTER - Allen Orville Trump, 96, formerly of Argos, died Sept. 2, 2015 at 2:45 p.m. at Hickory Creek Nursing Home, Rochester; he had been in declining health for several weeks.
He was born June 20, 1919 in Mishawaka to Orville Trump and Ada (Way) Trump.
He lived in the Argos community since 1951.
On Dec. 13, 1941 he married Mary Ellen (Bodey) Trump; they shared 71 years together.
He was a meat cutter working in meat processing at Wilson's in Logansport, where he retired in 1981.
He was a member of the Argos Wesleyan Church of Argos. He was also a charter member of the Argos Wesleyan Church.
He was a graduate of LaPaz High School class of 1939.
Survivors include sons - Harvey Trump and wife Lois of Argos; Marion Trump and wife Carol of Seattle, Wash.; Ray Trump and friend Marcia Honkomp of Argos; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and brother – Ross Trump and wife Norma of North Manchester.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sons - Ronald Allen Trump and Merlyn Trump; brother - Roy Trump; sister - Norma LaBere; and foster daughter - Melinda William.
Friends may visit with the family Monday, Sept. 7, 2015 from 9 – 11 a.m. at the ParkSide Community Church, 225 S. Michigan St., Argos.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 7, 2015 at the ParkSide Community Church, 225 S. Michigan St., Argos, officiated by Rev. Brian Trump of the ParkSide Community Church.
Burial will be at Walnut Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Argos.
Memorial contributions may be made to ParkSide Community Church, 225 S. Michigan St., Argos, IN 46501.
