PLAINVILLE - Terrie Priscilla Wilmore was born to Clarence and Lorraine (Halsted) Wilmore, in Plainville, on March 5, 1949. She graduated from Plainville High School on June 23, 1967, with honors. During her years at Plainville High School, Terrie was well known for and received state recognition for her vocal and piano talents. Terrie received a bachelor of arts degree from Boston University with a major in psychology on May 23, 1971. Upon graduation from Boston University, Terrie married Stanley Maddox Goldsboro, Jr., and began a career at United Airlines. Shortly thereafter, she gave birth to her first child, Dawne Elise Goldsboro, on Dec. 31, 1971. Terrie traveled extensively during her tenure with United Airlines, both for business and leisure, and particularly enjoyed sharing her journeys with her mother, Lorraine, and daughter Dawne. After residing briefly in Boston, Mass., Los Angeles, Calif., and again in Plainville, Terrie settled with Dawne in Atlanta, Ga., allowing her to live in close proximity to her then husband Stanley's parents, Stanley Maddox Goldsboro, Sr., and Pearline Lindsay Goldsboro. Terrie was truly devoted to family. After her first marriage ended, she married Alan Torrance Tubbs, and through that union a daughter, Jessica Lorraine Tubbs, was born on December 16, 1981. Terrie continued her career with SATO Travel/United Airlines in Reservations, and truly cherished her time with beloved friends she made at work over the years. She continued to share her love of travel, both domestic and abroad, with her youngest daughter, Jessica, eldest daughter Dawne, and her mother, Lorraine.

To preserve her precious memory, Terrie is survived by two daughter, Dawne Goldsboro-Dawson and Jessica Lorraine Tubbs; one brother, Thomas Wilmore; one sister, Donna Coston; one granddaughter, Tyler Monet Dawson; and many other loving relatives and friends. Terrie was a rare, gentle beauty and loving spirit who deeply touched the lives of all who were blessed to have known her. She will remain dearly loved and missed by many.
