MERIDEN - Marvis (Londin) Kumm, 79, of Meriden, wife of Earl Kumm, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.

Born in New Britain, she was a former New Britain and Middletown resident, moving to Meriden in 2005. Marvis was a graduate of Newington High School, class of 1949. She was a faithful servant of the Lord.
Besides her husband, Earl; she leaves two sons, Timothy Kumm, of New Britain; and Geoffrey Kumm and his wife, Cynthia, of Winslow, Maine; a daughter, Deborah Lestik, of Chesapeake, Va.; a brother, Russell Londin and his wife, Nancy, of Clinton; eight grandchildren; two great-grandsons; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Richard and Wesley Londin.
Funeral services are Friday at 10 a.m., at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Meriden. There are no calling hours.
