DENNEY, Ronald Glenn
January 28, 1939 - February 21, 2013
Born in Prelate, Saskatchewan and raised in Calgary, Ron overcame a rough start in life to become a much loved and respected man, known for his tremendous warmth and humour. Beloved husband to Barb, father to Janice, grandfather to Michelle and Lukas, brother to Gerald and Keith (predeceased by mother Edna and sister Nadine). A favourite with the Cornelson clan. Life-long friend to many and 37-year veteran police officer in Calgary and West Vancouver. It was a full life. Many thanks to the staff at Kiwanis Pavilion who cared for Ron these past months, certain angels in particular. In lieu of flowers, donations would be welcome to the Alzheimer Society of BC or the Kiwanis Pavilion. A celebratory gathering and wake will be held in the near future where stories will be told, glasses raised, and a wonderful guy honoured. Condolences can be left at www.mccallbros.com/obituaries

My thanks to you for adding your comments to Ron's obituary website. We have lost touch with friends over the years but it's nice to see that Ron is still remembered. FYI his main obituary (a longer version) is on the following website along with the majority of tributes. Hopefully you have a chance to take a look.
