Ellen Adelaide (Ada) Jones

Ellen Adelaide (Ada) Jones 1917 - 2013 Ada passed away February 12, 2013 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Viola Davie and Dorothy Jones, and her parents, Cecil and Mary Ellen Howey. She was born in Grahamdale Manitoba in a small farm community. She enjoyed Skiing as a youth and bridge and crib as an adult. She was a camp counselor and a member of Canadian Girls in Training. Ada married Dave Jones in 1942. They moved to Regina, where her son David was born. Her daughter Pam was born in New Westminster. She excelled at accounting and book keeping, and worked for The Bay, Woodwards, Calgary Packers, Dvorkin Meats and Fletcher's Meats. Her husband passed away in 1998. She is survived by her daughter Pam (Dennis) grandchildren Trevor and Kyle, and son David (Emily, Shana) grandchildren Stephen, Brian and Ethan. Remembered, loved and missed greatly.
