DYKE, John Raymond
October 6, 1927 - February 25, 2013
John passed away peacefully on February 25 at the age of 85. Predeceased by his wife Ruth in 1970. Survived by his sister Doreen, brother Bill (Rose); six children, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. John was a long-time resident of Dawson Creek before retiring to the White Rock area. He will always be remembered for his love of the outdoors and enjoyed meeting and helping people. He remained to the end, a person of strength, humility and generosity. John was a kidney transplant recipient 15 years ago thanks to his granddaughter and St Paul's Hospital. He will be greatly missed, forever loved and always in our hearts. A private family gathering will be held with no memorial service as per John's request. The family would like to thank St Paul's Hospital staff for the great care they gave our father. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation be made to St. Paul's Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice. Condolences may be offered at
