Léon passed away peacefully on February 19, 2013 at the age of 75. The youngest of eleven children, he lived a truly Canadian life, from his birthplace in the farming village of St-Pierre, Manitoba, through an active business career that took him from Thunder Bay to Hamilton to Ottawa to Montreal and, finally, to Vancouver. A graduate of the University of Manitoba (Bachelor of Commerce) and the University of Laval (MBA), he is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Thérèse; children Lynn, John and Martin; and grandchildren Kim, Mark, Eric, Luke, Emery and Sylvie. Modest, selfless and hard-working, he was an exemplary husband and father, and a gentleman in the truest sense of the word. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on February 22 at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, 315 Walker St., Coquitlam.
