RAY, Peter
Peter Ray died peacefully at Eagle Ridge Hospital in Port Moody on December 14, 2012. He was born in Vancouver in 1921 to Harry and Margaret (née Thrift) Ray. He served overseas in the RCAF during World War II, first in Britain and later in Burma, when he volunteered for service there and stayed until the end of the war in the Pacific. He leaves behind two daughters, a granddaughter and her husband, and two great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank his friends who were able to visit with or write to him during his final stay in hospital, and helped him in many ways. To David Kozak, our deepest gratitude for endless hours of help. At his request there will be no service.
