It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we announce the sudden tragic death of our Manricco Sansalone. Ricco was born on October 4, 1991 to Nicole Ziegler and Joseph Sansalone. Ricco was taken from us way too soon and he leaves behind his mom and dad, sisters Santina, Gia, Ava, Hailey, Bella, brothers Jo-Jo and Vinny and nieces Venice and Capri, as well as his grandparents, uncles, cousins and many friends. We'll forever miss Ricco's gentle nature and his ability to light up a room with his smile and contagious laughter. Ricco loved his family and would always be willing to drop his plans to help family or friends in need. Ricco had recently spent the summer of 2017 fighting forest fires in the BC Interior with the Malakwa Fire Department and was very excited to start the new year as a millwright apprentice. We would like to thank the Malakwa Fire Department for supporting Ricco and honouring his memory with a plaque at the Fire Hall. The Sansalone Family would also like to thank Andy Ittarman, Jesse Haddan, and all the other extended family and friends that helped guide and nurture Ricco throughout his life. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 7 – 9 p.m. at Garden Hill Funeral Home, 11765 224th Street, Maple Ridge, BC Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 20285 Dewdney Trunk Road, Maple Ridge, BC.
