He was an active member of the Chamber of Commerce and the Gyro Club of Vancouver where he served as President in 1965-66. Alf and Donna spent many happy years together, golfing, enjoying cruising holidays, life in both the Bahamas and Palm Desert area and at their home in Vancouver. The family wish to extend their deep gratitude to Alf's long time physician Dr. I. Perlman, the Pacific Spirit Community Health Centre, the VGH Cardiac Function Clinic, the compassionate home caregivers and thank the excellent, caring Doctors and staff at Marion Hospice for helping to make Alf comfortable during his final days.
