GLOVER, Cecile Marie
Our dear mother and 'CC' died suddenly on November 18, 2013. Although she will be greatly missed, we are deeply comforted in knowing that she is reunited with her beloved Jack. CC epitomized everything a mother and grandmother could be. She lived in absolute non judgement, unconditional support, unwavering patience, and infinite love. In her quietly strong, supportive, always loving way CC was the rock for our family and friends. The relationship she and Jack shared during 51 years of marriage will remain a true inspiration in our lives always. We will cherish our many shared adventures, the true joy of Hornby Island, Harrison Hot Springs, Paris, Palm Springs and Cozumel. CC celebrated life through theatre and music, and in the great community it gave her and her family. She was also devoted to her West Point Grey community through friendships and her volunteerism. We are forever grateful that she instilled in all of us the deep values of good relationships, cherished friendships, loving family and a great sense of joie de vivre. As CC's fortunate kids, we thank her for giving us wonderful memories and a deep appreciation for the beauty of life. CC found great joy in sharing laughter and life with her grandkids, and Cameron, Sydney, Olivia, Spencer, Shilo and Paxton received the greatest gifts from her. Kate, Bob, Joan, James, Laura and Bill find a deep and sustaining strength as we move forward in the family connection that was forged by the love and caring of our parents, Jack and Cecile. As our parents always closed their annual Christmas letter, "Let us wish you a very Merry Christmas and a healthy, happy and prosperous new year".
