Elaine Wright died peacefully on April 18, 2013 at Little Mountain Place. Diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's at 47, she had a strong will to live and lived life to the fullest, traveling the world for as long as she was able. She was strong, intelligent, and beautiful. A long time employee of BC Tel/ Telus Elaine was the first person diagnosed with Alzheimer's to be on the board of directors for the Alzheimer's Society of BC. A strong advocate for Alzheimer's awareness, she was part of the ascent for Alzheimer's and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. She will be missed by team Elaine and her family. Friends are invited to gather at her home on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. to share memories. Donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
