Beth has been a delightful, precious, true friend, always interested in and praying for others and ready to share about 'her people' from the field - an extraordinary example of God's grace.

Beth and my family became acquainted when she first left for India. My grandmother had been invited to the WEC for a supper meeting to hear about a young women who wanted to serve our Lord in India. My father went with his mom and after hearing Beth speak they decided that the family would support her. this continued through my grandmother and parents life and Beth's ministry. I remember the packages we put together to send at Christmas and all the family sitting around the table to hear the letters that Beth would write back. when Beth returned home on visits she would visit my Grandmother and family. I know that there is much rejoicing in heaven with all her many friends and family.

Although I did not spend much time with Beth Boju(Grandmother), I have a few fond memories of her. I met her at the age of three in Arizona. She gave me generous gifts which meant a lot to me. I remember the dollars she sent on my birthdays , the beautiful bible story book I have till today and cherish , the Vancouver cap she gave me in Shillong which I wore all day. Every memory of her's has been associated with love and generous giving. She taught me that meaningful acts of giving out of pure love and kindness stay forever in the heart of the receiver, and I in turn have learned to give and find joy in giving. Her gifts were meaningful and carried blessings much like Jesus is ever so willing to give us. I am sure she has been rewarded in heaven for all the sacrifices and acts of love that she fulfilled her on Earth.
I miss you Beth Boju.

Auntie Beth I called her,but she was more than an aunt. She was a loving and caring mother to me. I loved her as much as I love my biological mother. I am grateful to her for visiting and attending our second son's baby shower program in Crosspoint church, Arizona way back in 2002. The sacrifices she and auntie Crane have made for our Nepali people is beyond description. What NCF (Nepali Christian Fellowship) is today is because of the two wonderful missionaries who sacrificed everything including their near and dear ones. I will miss her wonderful letters, e-mails and her fervent prayers. I thank and praise God for her life and will wait anxiously to meet her one day.

Aunt Beth was a blessing to our whole family, and we will miss her very much. She was a wonderful role model, and also inspired me to be a woman of faith. My husband Harry and I were privileged to care for her in these last few years, and we have many good memories to cherish. How blessed we are to have had her in our lives for so long.

Beth was such an inspiration; always joyful, always rejoicing, always committed to Jesus. Every visit with her was an enriching experience. Well done - Beth. See you in the morning!

I didn't know Beth well, since our furloughs from our various fields didn't cross, but when I retired from service in Africa, I met Beth at our WEC conferences held in BC. What a happy, delightful person she was with hope-filled stories. She leaves a wonderful example to follow. Linda Nagel - Hamilton Ontario

Although I did not know Beth well, I did appreciate the conversations we had together. I was part of a prayer band for India with her niece Beth Allinger when I was a student at Burrard Inlet Bible Institute. Beth was always bright and cheerful and a wonderful example of her joy in the Lord. She was a blessing to those she met.

I will miss my aunt dearly. I will miss her sense of humour, our discussions on politics and current events, and always her acceptance and love.
I enjoy visiting with my mother Lydia at Evergreen, and would drop in and see aunt Beth at the care home there, sad to see her weakness as she was mainly bedridden in her final weeks, but she still had that spark of joy and mischief as we talked.
In her last years, she often said to me that she was ready to leave this life, knowing her time was done, and that she was eager to join her brothers and other dear friends "on the other side". God bless her. Looking forward to being reunited with her one day. She pointed upward on my last visit with her, just days before she passed away, and said, "I'll see you later."
I'll see you later, Beth. Love you.

What a wonder example Beth was to younger workers signing up to give their lives away for the Lord's service. For the last fourty years all we have ever heard was praise and respect for Beth. Hers was a life well spent.

The obituary In Memory of Elizabeth Allinger, June 28, 1918 - February 7, 2017 is a beautiful portrayal of her life dedicated entirely for the Lord. What strikes me most is October 15th/1946 Beth & Elaine Crane went to ShillongThey thought it would be for 6 months but they stayed for 32 years. I was a little child when she left Shillong, but my interaction with her continued thereafter, even till recent years through her numerous letters and greeting cards, and e-mails.
Thank you, Aunty Beth for nurturing, mentoring, advising, and praying for me and my family. Thank you for naming my two daughters Phebe and Pearly. Thank you for the love and sacrifice you have made for the Nepali people.
Thank you for guiding us to build our hope on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness; not to trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus' name, and to stand On Christ, the solid Rock for all other ground is sinking sand (quoted from one of my favorite hymn My Hope is Built on Nothing Less" by Edward Mote, 1797-1874).
