TAM, Hilda
Passed away peacefully on December 6, 2012 after a courageous two year battle with breast cancer. She is lovingly remembered and sorely missed by her husband Eric Coffin and children Emma and Ben. She is survived by her mother Dorothy Tam, brothers Simon, Lawrence (Cathy), and Alex (Rand) and her sister Cathy O'Young and by Audrey Jang, Daphne O'Young, Darryl O'Young, Titus, Darius, Vanessa and Hillary Tam, and Meredith and Gaelan Coffin, the nieces and nephews she loved. Hilda is missed by her friends and co-workers at the City of North Vancouver. Hilda was a strong and intelligent woman who will be remembered for her humor and thoughtfulness and for the brave way she faced up to a terrible illness and refused to be a victim of it. Her resolve will always be an inspiration to us. Hilda's family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Life in her honour at 5pm on Tuesday December 18th in the Pinnacle Ballroom at the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier, 138 Victory Ship Way (corner of Lonsdale and Esplanade), North Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully acknowledges your donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
