BAINS, Parmjit Kaur
Our loving mother Parmjit Kaur Bains, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2013. She was born in India on August 9, 1940 and made her family home first in England and then Canada. Parmjit will be remembered for her resilience, kind heart and utter selflessness. A gentle soul, Parmjit enjoyed the simple things in life such as a walk through her neighborhood and a cup of tea with family. She was predeceased by her husband Didar Singh Bains, her mother, Naranjan Kaur Johal and will be deeply missed by her father, Pritam Singh Johal, her loyal siblings, Santokh, (Surinder), Sucha (Harbans) and Sukhdev (Charan), her beautiful daughters, Sukhbinder (Avtar), Nin (Onkar), Kulbinder ( Piers), Darshan (Chris), Servjit (Sukh), Poppy (Sat), her cherished grandchildren, Jeevan (Kal), Aman (Prince), Jason, Kevin, Sean, Joshua, Luke, Indra, Mira, Amit and Arun, and her great grandchildren Ameera and Roman. She will also be missed by her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Riverside Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. followed by prayer services at Gurdwara Sahib Brookside at 12:30 p.m. The family is grateful to the staff at Surrey Memorial Hospital for the exceptional care they provided.
