PENNER, Sharon Marlene (McDonald)
August 17, 1938 - December 17, 2012
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Marlene Penner. Sharon passed away suddenly in her Surrey home with her husband John by her side. She is predeceased by her mother Mary, Father Frank, stepmother Geraldine and her brother Brian. Sharon is survived by her husband of 35 years John, her brothers Frank (Denise) Robin (Sharon) and David, her sisters Carol (Bill), Heather and Tammy (Herb), her sons Ken (Sandi) and Keith "Kc" (Cheryl), daughters Tammy (Bill), Teresa (Tibi), Laura (Brian) and her beloved grandchildren, Katrina, Jamie, Alicia, TJ, Alex, Cole, Marlie, Cassie. Leah, Jake, Gray and Wyce. Sharon will also be missed greatly by her very best friend Pat and by the many extended family members and friends whom she remained close to throughout the years. Sharon was born in New Westminster, BC and proud of it and worked at King Neptune and the Lucky Strike Lanes. She was a "shopper extraordinaire' and had a passion for giving presents for everyone. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Deb for her compassion and support while caring for Sharon. A celebration of Sharons life will be held on Saturday, January 12 at 1:00 pm at Eaglequest Coyote Creek Golf Club 7778-152nd Street Surrey, BC In lieu of flowers, donations to the Terry Fox Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
