13 April 1954 - 09 May 2012 Steve died suddenly on May 9th aged 58 years while out sailing, an activity he loved. He is survived by his loving family, partner Sharon, daughters Rachel and Natalie, brothers Nicholas and Laurence (Margaret). Steve also had a large, diverse group of friends reflecting his many interests. He was an avid sailor, participating in the Wednesday Night Racing series and other local races, a board member of Early Music Vancouver as well as a long-time volunteer with both the Vancouver Folk and Jazz Festivals, and a huge soccer fan. He spent a decade coaching and managing young soccer enthusiasts with the North Shore Girls Soccer Club. In his professional life he was a financial advisor and portfolio manager with Odlum Brown for many years, and had a passion for facts and figures. Steve will be remembered for his energy, drive, and enthusiasm in any endeavour he took on and will be missed by family and friends alike.
