1935 - 2013
After a long, hard, brave battle with cancer, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Victor Prijatelj. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Angelina, his two sons Boris and David, and the two lights of his life, his grandchildren Daryl and Darlene. Victor will always be remembered for his love of family, his strong work ethic, his big heart, and his wonderful sense of humor. To all who knew Victor, you will be happy to know that he died as he lived, on his own terms and he fought the cancer with everything that he had every step of the way. They broke the mold when they made him and there will never be another Victor. Prayers will be held at St. Joseph the Worker Parish located at 4451 Williams Road in Richmond on Friday December 20, 2013 at 6pm and there will be a Mass with refreshments to follow at 2pm on Saturday December 21st, also held at St. Joseph the Worker Parish. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and/or Richmond Hospital.
